Used to be my work spot

Groothandelsgebouw. On the right Central station. On the left the Weena tunnel. On the bottom in the middle the entrance to the underground bike parking. And top right, under the trees where the tracks bend to the right, Blijdorp Zoo. Before WWII the Zoo was situated on the left side of the Weena, where the road bends to the right and the trees are situated.
Beautiful view

@ivan those are the Europoint complex at Marconiplien on the city border near Schiedam. We call then the Marconitowers, built in 1975 they stayed empty due to the crisis back than. From 76 till 2015 the municipal services Urban Development and Municipal Works were housed there.

The complex is now being renovated. It will be transformed into the Lee Towers with more than 800 full service rental apartments.

It was built by the American architectural firm of L. Skidmore, N.A. Owings and J.O. Merill (SOM) from Chicago. The three buildings are 95 meters in height and they are slightly wider in the top to compensate for the perspective distortion so they look perfectly straight.
