Freshly painted

This is simply a shot to get one in for the day. I took dozens of photos but they were work related. (I'm a real estate broker and took photos of a new listing). It was an awful gray day and everything is still brown around here. Saw this spot of color and took it! No comments necessary!
Love the bold red of this hydrant.

Beautiful in its shiny red detail! Colors do pop better on an overcast day.

It's a great blast of red! Way better than all the brown we've got around us. Perfect choice for an overcast day.

I agree with Deb. It is great to see something bright.

Great color. My mother had something in common with you. She was a real estate broker in the 50's, and 60's. http://www.hisandhersphoto.com/family/hhvan_017.htm

@rvwalker @rvwalker Thanks for the link Ross! It's fascinating to see you and your family history! Your mother was beautiful and apparently quite the business woman ( ahead of her time). She would be amazed to see how the business has changed with today's technology. I will enjoy going back to the link and seeing all the shots you and Linda have posted.

@mccarth1 Thanks, Kerry. It is great to know you two had something in common despite the big difference in years.
