Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio. by mcsiegle

Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio.

For tag challenge -- tags: purple and self-portrait. So...here I am portraying Hamlet in imitation of the KS State "Willie the Wildcat" mascot on my shirt. Are you following that? The shirt is a fundraiser for the English Department undergraduate honorary society. I think it's the coolest shirt on campus, even if I now work in a different department. OK...here's the thing. I know this is not much, photo-wise. If I manage to get something better before the challenge deadline, I'll switch this to alternates. But our computer is rather ill and keeps saying there are zero KB available. We delete a few podcasts or other things -- get a GB or two freed up and very briefly can do things. Then it goes back down -- yesterday, the numbers went down right before my eyes. So I thought I'd better throw something up during this window of opportunity to show my good intentions, at least.
I think this is great - and love your funny title.

I like the title as well... and I'm so there with you on coming up with a challenge worthy picture... I struggled with mine as well. :o)

@twistergirl Thanks, Doris. Glad you like the title. @iluvabcz Dawn, I wish I had your beautiful purple flowers! I did manage to keep the computer alive enough to edit and upload another "purple me" attempt.

Nice witty interpretation, hope the computer is ok again, sounds like a bit more memory needs to be added, though I'm no expert.

@denidouble I bet you're right. I sincerely hope it doesn't mean the hard drive is failing. I've had that happen before. We've been using it sparingly and doing more on the laptop I'm using now. Need to get any files copied off of it that we're using right now so we can take it in for repair. MUST do that instead of hanging out on 365 and looking at beautiful pictures. LOL Fingers crossed.
