Vintage water tower by mittens

Vintage water tower

I saw this interesting looking water tower in a park. I think the plaque on it said it was build around 1932 and it is still in use.

Thank you so much for your encouraging comments and favs. I love looking at your pictures, too.
This has a lot of character, nicely photographed!

Feel so sorry for the bad condition of this lovely rusty water tower (I love rivets builds ) We take good care of ours although there is no use for it. Most of them has given an other purpose

What a cool tower - it looks a bit like a giraffe :)
You've made a nice diptych to show it off near and far.

@cashew Thank you Kathy. I definitely did not climb it. I don't think anyone's allowed to climb it and if I did, I'd probably be in the hospital now. LOL

I don't think I have ever seen stairs on the outside of a water tower. At least, not like these. Is the tower still in use?
