A little bird

I saw this bird on a recent walk and I don't think I've seen one like this before. I have no idea what kind he is. He is pretty, though. Thank you to those who helped identify the bird. He seems to be a barn swallow.

In Australia we call them welcome swallows, but maybe it has a different name where you live. It is a swallow though.

Hi Marilyn, that's a great image, just google. Swallow. We have them here in the Summer, before Winter they fly off to warmer countries Africa. :)
