Millions of cicadas

Eek!! After 17 years, this cycle of cicadas has emerged in our area, especially in parks.
This was at a state park in Ohio. It was not a pretty sight. There were tons of them lying on the ground under the tree.

I alway`s think : ``everything there is has a right to be``. But sometimes it`s hard to stick on it. Great shot never the less.

@bsimpson Thank you Brian. We left the park before dark so I don't know if they made noise after dark. I could hear some during the day but it wasn't as bad as I would have thought.

Wow what a lot of cicadas. We get thousands here too and the noise is incredible.
