Last week I posted a photo of an hippeastrum bud starting to open. These are the flowers, fully opened - my hippeastrum produced two buds, with 4 flowers each. Each flower is as big as my open hand, and I had to cut the stems because, with so big flowers, even a little wind overturns the pot.
