We had a fire drill today. The fire station is just across the road, and the fire fighters have brought a smoke machine to make it more realistic. I have no idea what they use to make the smoke (it does not smell and you can breath just right, and your eyes don’t itch or water), but it spreads fast and lingers. I took this photo after the drill ended, when we had been allowed to go back in. Fortunately it was as the break, so the kids have remained outside, and only the teachers have come into the building to open doors and windows, so that the breeze could clean the smoke.
