This canvas of 40*50 cm was painted 99,53% with that brush (don't get overwhelmed, it's painting by numbers). I know... I need to check my mental health.
But aren't those owls awesome!!!!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Well, i\ve been on it for about a half a year now... And I did it when the options were: sleep now (like 6 pm) or paint this (because I was unable to do anything else). So i just did it when nothing else was feasible.
@asimon I couldn't possibly hate you for this. it is too nice: owls and my favourite colour palette. Why should I hate you for this? I did it willingly. ;)
Yes I know paint by numbers is thought a bit naff but it can be very rewarding. My Daughter bought me two last October and I am still only halfway through the first one. There are some very intricate sections.Well done you
@kjarn Kathy, the canvas was already stretched on the wooden frame. The set came in as such. The stretched canvas and the paints. (It came with a couple of brushes, but i couldn't work with them).
I like this so much I also want to do it. I found it at a place on line where I can buy it without a frame, with a do it yourself frame or with a frame, I assume yours came with a frame then by your description
@kjarn do you mean an outer frame? Or the frame on the back of the canvas?
This one only has the frame (structure, if you prefer) on the back. I don't intend to frame it. I like canvases as such.
I have no idea what I mean. The options they gave me were no frame, DIY frame or frame. I'm assuming you can just get the canvas, some wood to make a frame or already framed like yours. I wouldn't want to do an outer frame either
Oh... i see. I think you should ask for details what they mean. I think it is not easy to mount a canvas on the frame. Maybe they want to include a proper outer frame.
Just wondering about the 0.47%... Fingers?
