Frikkin' polarizing filter by monikozi

Frikkin' polarizing filter

Can you spot the difference?
The left photo is made using a polarizing filter.
Hadn't I known the explanation, I would not have been able to spot any difference.
No reflections on the left photo.

This photo outing in the city with the polarizing filter was a fail. Almost. I learned that it does not work on windows as I thought (removing all reflections). I did use the filter once on a pond, and that was astonishing indeed. I thought it would do the same on buildings.

@monikozi works best on clouds on sunny days, esp in monochrome

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Really? Thanks for the tip! I shall definitely take it out when I will get a chance. I did notice a change in the sky when I played with it, while concentrating on buildings with glass. But I was so keen to get the reflections out that I completely ignored that. And we did have some cloudy skies the other days :D Thanks a bunch!

The only difference I noticed at first look was the appearance of the silver car too 😂

The Fiat 500 seems to be in the shadow so you probably won't get much effect from the polarizing filter. The filter works best when reducing flare/reflections caused by the sunlight.
