that's an absolute stunner, jane. sorry to hear about your wearisome week. when i got elements 13, i found scott kelly &matt kloskowski's book the most helpful. they no doubt have one for your version. simple explanations, with every i dotted and t crossed. they don't bother with (in my view) tedious background info about why you would press this or click that - they just tell you what you need to do literally in order to sharpen/change the background/add a texture/clone something out or whatever. i also like rick peterson's tutorials - he has a lovely calm canadian voice and i always feel i'm in safe hands :) i found it scary and disheartening to start with, but have grown to love it, and play around and learn from my (frequent) mistakes, and i hope you will too :)
