Today, at around 9am, the service guy from Electrolux came around to fix a noise in my washing machine. All it needed was some goop in the seal of the gearbox. However, if I had left that noise, the whole thing would have gotten worse and within the next year, I would have been paying for a new gearbox in the machine. Well worth the $95.00; instead of $300 for a new one.
Oh, the little rectangular mark on the inside of the machine in the first photo is from where a cake of Sunlight Soap escaped into the machine while I was scrubbing something some months ago... that's where it landed and was evaporated over a few weeks.
