On Christmas Night, we dropped into a relative's place to wish them a Merry Christmas for about an hour. Just before we left, Aunty Narelle pointed out a massive Mud Wasp nest outside their front door in an alcove. She said she couldn't bring herself to destroy it seeing it wasn't in the way and they weren't harming anyone.
Over the years, this nest has grown and has been added to; and they have left it alone and it's had a flute added on as well (which is missing from here). They've yet to come back this year to fix it up and use it again.
