Summer is the time of either enjoying the heat - or not enjoying it. I'm on the team of not enjoying it, and staying inside all day with an ice cold drink by my side and vegging out in front of the computer, reading a book or watching a nice movie about skiing.
But today, I got out there and did some serious laundry, seasoned my new chopping board and photographed my 'new' containers for my new work bench for Crafty Pegs... now, I'm just going to hang out next to the air-conditioner for the day.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@kerenmcsweeney I actually had a shower before bed last night, then a shower an hour after going to bed, then at 1am, I got up and wrestled the fan out of the wardrobe and put it on ... it was only then I could sleep.
Here's the irony, I woke up this morning to a lovely cool breeze coming in through my bedroom window at 6am .... my fan was blowing warm air around the room... eeewww!
@mozette Well I know the feeling. I think they should make a horror movie about this horrible heat that eats people (mmm its almost true...its Queensland 'bad' heat V people...)
@kerenmcsweeney :P I'm a writer... this kind of weather keeps me awake at night and gets me thinking about what I'm going to do while I'm trying to sleep. :P
