I was up at 4am this morning, dressed by 4:30am and at Diggers on Blackwood Road, Logan Central for the Dawn Service for ANZAC Day by 4:55am.
I've been attending the Dawn Service on ANZAC Day for some years now, and don't wish to stop. I'm disgusted that nobody else in my unit complex attends the same service I do; instead waiting until the sun's up and attending later services. The Dawn Services are more touching and memorable in themselves... I find I get more out of them.
