I haven't had a Valentine in over 15 years, and I used to be so bitter about this day... so much so, I used to just lock myself away and ignore everyone.
Now? I go out and treat myself to chocolates and flowers, and people think I'm buying them for my 'significant other'... but when I say I'm buying them for myself, they think it's weird.
But, you have to love yourself first before you let anyone else in. And that's what I'm doing. These were $5 each, whereas a bunch of flowers were $30! I love chocolate more than flowers right now.
