Down the Drain

Yesterday morning, council guys showed up and took a tour of the sewage drain in my back yard.

This drain hasn't been opened since I moved in almost 15 years ago! So, it was interesting to find out how clean it was. They were impressed I had gotten a plug put on a smaller one - where most people leave it open - very pleased at the condition of the drain lids.

I was told they were cleaner than expected and it was great they didn't have to do anything except get a chisel and hammer to get them open as they had rusted shut.
