The texture of the cake is surprisingly lighter than I had expected. I love the browned edges and sides. Inside the cake, the brandied cherries are big and moist and the alcoholic taste is only barely there, so they go really well with the subtle, elegant taste of green tea.
Beautiful catch of this fabulous looking cake!! Sounds wonderful and would love to try it. Love the textures and color of this. The background to your photos are always to delicate and soft. Amazing. This is my kind of "cake!"
What a sensational looking cake - and I love your mouth watering description. My favourite cake would have to be a black forest cake - but like Shirley, I rarely say no to any sort of cake.
Thank you, everyone, for taking the time to visit and leave a comment! I appreciate it very much. I wish I could share my macha cake so you all know what it tastes like.
Again, thank you!
