I like colorful things. And paper. So I could hardly contain my happiness when I spotted this in a shop last week. The Kid said, "You're never using it, are you?" and shook his head resignedly when I declared, "Never!" Heh.
This photograph was taken simply by rolling the paper a little, to make a funnel shape, and then taking a shot. Instant depth! Try it, it's easy and fun!
Great idea for a really beautiful photo. Clever girl . . how's the new camera working out? I am slowly (very slowly) adjusting! Am happy that I forced myself to use it. Can't wait to see more of your photos, Livia.
@karenann This shot was taken with the old camera. I still love my Lumix! I've been shooting with the new camera too. It feels great. The autofocus is much faster than my Lumix. It also shoots better in lower light conditions. I think it's a fantastic camera. Don't expect great shots from me, though! The camera may be an awesome new one but the photographer is the same old, slow-witted, elderly creature of habit. Heh. Very happy to hear you're adjusting to the new camera! Your recent photographs are amazing. I can't wait to see more from you.
