I fished this out of my blog. It's in an entry dated July 27, 2008. We had just watched Hellboy 2 and the credits were rolling.
Me: So, if you had a choice to save the world or me, what would you choose?
Husband: I don't know.
Me: *SHOCKED*
Husband: *REALIZES DEADLY MISTAKE*
Me: That's a pretty honest answer.
Husband: *SHOCKED*
Me: So you'd save 6 billion people, but not me.
Husband: That's not what I meant!
Me: Too late. I'm traumatized.
It's been 22 years since we exchanged vows and rings. I still love him. Because I love the fact that we can be totally honest with each other... and then have a good laugh over it. 8D
Aww thats such a sweet memory :) Its good you could laugh about it - I'd be all - I'm not talking because you dont love me enough about it.. :P Oh and happy anniversary :)
Okay . . I just called my husband in here and asked him the question. His answer (without hestitation) was, "You!" He just knows better and doesn't want to see me pouting the rest of the day. Smart man . . he always says the pants, the dress, the coat, look good on me too. He's great at avoiding conflict. Great photo, Livia. Love your comment! :)
what a sweet story, love that - and this shot is amazing, love the angle, the shadow on the white surface, and the crisp and clear engraving, beautiful and inspiring!!
I love the story and the picture. The way things go these days, you've very lucky to say you're still in love 22 years later. May it always be that way.
Wonderful. This reminds me that I need to get new wedding ring. The first slipped off my finger in the surf, the second fell off while walking after I lost weight. Third time lucky maybe.
my partner just said, "what's in it for me?" i think that's why he lives across the hall. hahahaha! excellent shot, livia. this is still not so in autofocus anymore, is it?
This is a beautiful shot and a great caption! We're coming upto our 12th and also have a inscription in our rings so I can really relate to this photo!
@summerfield I now have a macro lens but I still use the autofocus. I don't see myself switching to manual focus at all. Maybe if I survive and complete my 365 project, I'll try switching. Maybe. 8D
I cannot find the words sometimes to express how I feel, so I'll say it again. Thank you very much!
