I've never owned a Pentax camera. And I still don't. No, no, it's not even a camera! This is a miniature replica that I got out of playing the Gashapon machine. 8D
It measures 4cm (1.5in) by 2cm (0.8in) and it's a charm on a keychain. In this Pentax DSLR miniature series, there are 6 different bodies and 6 different lenses and they are interchangeable! The one in my shot is a Pentax MX Black with the Pentax-M 40mm F2.8 lens. I managed to get the entire collection from playing the machines. It's S$3 per play. Ended with two duplicates but that's okay because it means The Husband and I can use them without fear of causing the collection to be incomplete if we lose them. Mine is hanging on my backpack.
Wow, its so cool and cute. A miniature Pentax? Sweet! I still own the Pentax K1000 I received for Xmas in Dec 1977 from my parents. Used it for years, and need to get the light meter fixed.
lol .... you make me smile!! Love your little "good luck" piece! You're building up a nice little collection there ... with extras in case of loss. Great photo and dof!
ok... this is too cute for words... my kids love buying stuff out of these machines and i've assumed that it's always going to be junk! never occurred to me there might be something collectible in there :)
hahaha! livia, you crack me up. i have one in my bag, but not a camera, an eyeball. put there by my grandson so he could keep an eye on me, said he. great shot with that tiny little thing. but then again, you can take pictures of anything so minute and make it look like a giant. kudos!
Great capture Livia, i love the DOF. I would have been fooled! And you could do worse than shoot with Pentax, they have some awesome prime lenses in their lineup!
A great, big, handy-sized, fun-filled and collectible "THANK YOU!" to everyone!
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment! I go weak in the knees for tiny things like that. Even The Husband thought these miniatures are very well made. We wished there were different brands!
Again, thank you so much. I appreciate your constant support.
Cool that the whole set can be bough boxed... hm...
