This is the prettiest caterpillar I've seen so far! I think the bold colors and pattern are very attractive. This caterpillar will become a Plain Tiger butterfly.

i agree! i don't normally like bugs but this one is pretty. i had some monarch butterfly caterpillar before they are very similar to this tiger buttergfly.
The clarity and macro are superior ... awesome detail. Awesome everything!! I saw the butterfly (end result) and think that this guy is gorgeous in all stages. Also read where you don't want "tags, thank-yous, etc.) I should do that too to save some time on here. Hard for me to change, Livia. Guess I'll keep thanking (and talking to you anyway!) :)

Such beautiful markings! The yellow almost looks like it's raised - the bit of red on the antennae adds to the beauty of the little one! Love the finished product, too, in your other photo!

Beautiful color, dof and lighting. You know, I've never seen a caterpillar in the wild. Always at zoos, or at exhibits. Now you have my curiosity peeked. Like ol' Sherlock says "The game is afoot."
