Tiny flowers. They looked so sweet, I had to shoot them. 8)
Stephen King: "The devil's voice is sweet to hear."
Of that, I have no doubt. The traditional image of the devil is a hideous horned creature. But popular media such as books and movies have, in recent times, depicted the devil as a well-dressed, smart-looking man or a sweet little boy. Me? I think the devil may be best disguised as a sweet little girl in a pretty dress and hat, holding a bunch of flowers such as these.
(I probably love horror fiction a little too much. XD )
I LOVE horror fiction and Stephen King did if for me when he wrote The Stand. Not so much some of the later ones.
Oh, and I like your delicate flowers.
Love the pink ....the pov and the delicacy of these! You may be right about the devil...I think the same thing. Scary thought, huh? I liked the early Stephen King books, but not the later one so much.
I think your right Livia..You just discribed my Sister!! lol!! ..The color is so pretty and your right the devil can be disquised as anything that will make us harm ourselves or lead us away from the truth and Jesus! Just my opinion!
I just absolutely love it that delicate pink flowers evoke thoughts of horror stories for you. Too funny! Glad to know I'm not the only one that makes seemingly unusual connections! :) love the focus here. Happy and airy. Really lovely!
I love this photo and I love Stephen King/horror stories too! Did you know his son writes? H is name is Joe King? I bought Joe's book on audible.com a while back...The Heart Shaped Box...it was pretty good. Had no clue who Joe King was! I just love me some S. King!
What a lovely colors Livia! it's more creepy to think of the devil as a sweet little girl in lovely dress and hat holding a bunch of flowers... really devilish :D
This is lovely! The colours, your focus, just edible! :) Devil, hmmmm I don't think too much about that but when I do Al Pacino's face in Devil's Advocate comes to mind : 'Vanity, definitively my favourite sin!'
A great, big, pretty-in-pink and devilishly sweet "THANK YOU!" to everyone! My head makes weird associations all the time. Thank you for taking a few moments to visit and write a comment. Please know that I appreciate your support very much. Just 25% to go before I complete my project!
