Foiled Again

The local wildlife must have known I had my zoom lense on today. This battle scarred old black bear thought he would get some easy pickins out of our trash, but we have a bear proof garbage can. The photo was really just a snap shot because he was gone quickly ..so I thought I would have some fun cropping and processing in PS for Ipad.I feel so bad that he has such a look of anticipation on his face!

@allisonraposa @streats @streats @tuya @susale @gmost thank for the encouragement friends.Bears are not a problem for me..or for anyone that uses bear proof garbage cans and cleans up after barbecues.The state of NJ brought back a hunt on bears a few years ago and that makes me really sad.If the people would take proper care of their outdoor environment and not feed them...nobody would have a problem.Ok..off my soapbox now.LOL

@38dcmoder @kyaboots @tori_shaw thanks gals.People have just not taken the proper precautions with garbage and the bears have lost their fear in favor of an easy meal.As much as it pains me...for the bears own good in general..we never ever feed them.
