Like Jade

This jade pendant with golden beads is actually the chrysalis of a Monarch butterfly. I am protecting it in a screened-in enclosure until it emerges. Then I will set it free for its long journey to its over wintering grounds in Mexico!

Very beautiful. It does look like jade, with a little silver strip around the top edge. Looks like a piece of jewelry. Hop you can photograph the emergence of the butterfly. That will really be one spectacular shot.
