The first year we moved here I put goodie bags together,dressed as a witch and had the place decked out in haunted splender.Now I am down to one bag of candy,a skull bracelet and a windsock.I got NO trick or treaters today.Gave half the bag of candy to the UPS man!The rest is for me while I watch scary movies and sulk.I love living in the woods...but I miss Halloween!
Oh, sorry, that must be sad if you love Halloween and trick-or-treaters. Maybe you could train some of your furry beings to knock on the door for special treats! ;-)))
This was the first year in my adult life that I did not buy candy. We had zero trick or treaters last year. I feel your pain. I'm heading out for what might be my last time with my son shortly. I'm sure he'll want to go on his own next year. I love your shot!
Haloween isnt a big deal in Australia but we get the odsd trick or treater and last night this greedy little girl complained I didnt give her enough chocolate!!! Ungrateful little monster!!! Anyway I LOVE your skull bracelett!! Nice light
Neat bracelet and great DoF. My only trick-or-treaters and grandkids. That's ok...I like the quiet, although this is the first year I didn't carve a pumpkin. Do miss that part. Enjoy your movies!

Aaah. poor sad story! I know the feeling! some years we get bunches and some hardly any! this is looking like a hardly any year for us too! It rained a bit tonight and that will slow a lot of them down I am sure!

Where I live we've grown older so trick or treat has diminished over the years. When I settled in England in the 60s it was a very low key tim. I don't think we get into it like you do!
Great Halloween processing and DOF. I had only 24 trick or treaters. Others in my city get over a hundred. I am grateful for my 24. It gives me time to enjoy their costumes. Maybe you can throw a party or help with a kid's party next year. The downtown merchants, the churches and some organizations have various events this time of year in my city.
