Finally finished my art homework!!!!! It's actually taken me about 13 hours...or more...
Basically, it's based on the artist John Suchy (I don't know if anyone's heard of him, he's an amazing artist from NYC, Google him!) And I drew the Alice in Wonderland picture, copying one on the internet, then I coloured it in, then I scanned it into my computer and printed it out 5 times, and then I've cut bits out and layered it up, with some parts of the picture having 1 layer, 2 layers etc, all the way u to 5. ...it looks better if you actually see it, but never mind. I've collaged it to try and show you what I did...
Thank you for all your words yesterday. Feeling a little better today, not a lot though...had a hug from one of my friends which was nice :) Hopefully once I've caught up on sleep I'll feel much better :)
Wow, Naomi. That is an awesome project. So creative. You put so much work into it. It's just wonderful. I hope you are feeling better. You sound like you are. =)
Wow--this is an incredible amount of work!! It turned out really, really nice--is it graded? You'll totally get an A!
Hope you had a better day today (:
This is just exceptional! I'm contemplating that you've colored every layer seperately and then covered them up (nearly) one by one! It just makes a wonderful piece of work and I hope you'll someday post it where you can enjoy your efforts on a daily basis! ...I just bought an electronic bookreader to take on our trip, and the cover I got for it mimicks the first page out of Alice in Wonderland! I love text, and thought it made a cool looking jacket...
this is so astonishing Naomi!!!! Seriously this is so amazing!!!!! I would have never been able to come up with something like this, I mean the ingenuity and creative ideal behind it is just so awesome! I'm sure you're going to get a really fabulous grade for this project! :D
I'm glad that today was 'slightly' better. It's the weekend now, so you have time to relax and just get some rest you know?
Yayyyy thank crunchy ;) You have created a masterpiece. Its astounding Naomi. So amazingly pretty and I love the way it pops against the carpet. Have a fab weekend :)
Hope you had a better day today (:
