You're gone from here, And soon you will disappear, Fading into beautiful light
So I really couldn't be bothered to take a picture today...in fact I just couldn't really be bothered to do anything at all. Feeling a complete and utter lack of motivation and ambition. Basically...blah.
On another note, I got my art exam today. I have no inspiration for it at all. So if anyone fancies giving me inspiration/ideas on one of these topics, I would be amazingly grateful! The topics are:
-Mirrors
-Trees
-Elderly People (This is currently the one on the bottom of my list)
-Cultural Diversity (inc. street culture)
-Aspects of Industry.
For the exam I have to do a book on one of these topics...like the one I did for Alice in Wonderland...over a period of weeks. But blergh, really, seriously, need to get some ideas going. I just don't have any.
I think mirrors has a lot of potential but then cultural diversity sounds gnarley. Oh and this is gorgeous :) and hullo! How do you doooo? I've not around much. Hope you're 'kay :) x
Nice sun flare shot. Well I would go with Mirrors or street culture, but as you know that is what I am most interested in capturing! Good luck with your choice.
Hmm, cultural diversity might be tricky in Harrogate... Same with industry. But you could probably justify a trip to the Bombay Stores in Bradford for cultural diversity...
Mirrors could be quite fun, with lots of reflections (maybe using water too?). Maybe tie it in with identity too, like the mirror showing who you really are, rather than who you want to be... (could use Through the Looking Glass and Mulan with that too!) http://365project.org/treehugger18/365/2010-10-22
Not so sure how far you could take the trees idea. I mean, a tree is a tree. And it's not like you can do much with the changing seasons really, having missed autumn already and probably not going to get to summer before the deadline.
Ah well, hope that helps some. I'll let you know if I come up with anything else. :-)
Beautiful. I hope you find your inspiration, I could see you doing something great with several of these. I think I'm leaning towards trees because I love your outdoor photography.
Magic mirrors? Trees reflected in mirrors? Broken mirrors? (unless you're superstitious, of course) How about mirrors reflecting old people's faces but in the mirror you see a photo of them as they looked when they were young (I'm sure they would have a photo of themselves). Or maybe take two photos that have great contrast and use the mirror theme setting one photo in a mirror (living fish/fishstick, birth announcement/gravestone, okay that may be a bit grim, but you get it.) You did such a great job with Alice in Wonderland, I know you will be able to do this!
From what I've seen of your photos, I think the mirrors and trees would suit you. You have amazing creativity, and I think you will become inspired once you have settled into what you actually want to do. I love trees, and I think you could do some wonderful, magical things with this. But I think mirrors might be more versatile.
BTW, love the lone leaf in this photo.
Lovely photo for a blah day. I'm with the mirror and tree folks. I can see you doing wonderful things with both. I think mirrors would allow your amazing creativity to blossom the best. If a mirror is a "looking glass" what do you see?

I also like the idea of the elderly people one too. There's a lot you could do with textures and portraiture. Also memories... http://365project.org/cortens/365/2010-03-29
