I've been pondering those dandelions all day. I've never seen a half fluffy, half yellow dandelion before. Do they change overnight or something? Ha, the random things that go on in my brain :')
lol you're right i never noticed but now that you've mentioned, i've never seen one that had only partially turned to the fluffy stuff, lol. hmmm something to ponder :P
This is simply beautiful, Naomi. The dandelions don't turn overnight, but people are so used to overlooking them that it might appear that way. All flowers (and plants) bloom and then go to seed. And yes, I do believe in wishes come true. With the spent dandelion, you have to find one with a full head, close your eyes, make a wish and then blow with all your might. If you've blown all the seeds out into the wind and hold an empty stem in your hand, your wish will come true. It's kind of like birthday candles, but it also makes the seeds spread so they can sow themselves again...part of nature. Some people think of them as weeds, but I think they are beautiful. Not a bad thing to think about...
