Pills... by naomi

Pills...

Went to the chemist to pick up yet more prescriptions today. They know me so well by now. I'm useless at taking a lot of them. But I'm on something like 17+ prescriptions which is a lot for a 22 year old. I have to not think about it because it just makes me sad.

I went to uni to teach my college administrator how to use Trello today. Then popped the Hobbycraft/The Range. Then went to a mental health focus group at uni.

I'm reall tired and my head is kicking off. I need to increase my quetiapine tonight which is making me nervous.
This is to difficult to read for me properly. I`m very sceptical about using to many chemical pills. One of my sisters did get a black out for several day`s and a urgent medical hospital treatment from/by it.

it makes me sad too... i cant fathom how they think it will make you healthier.

@kali66 who knows... some of them are to conteract the effects of others. I don't take all of them which I get told off for weekly. It's just so hard. (And it doesn't include the two over-the-counter things I've had to use this week to fight the allergic reaction I had to somethingorother)

On a lighter note, what is Trello?
Wish you a very good night sleep!

Brilliant focus and dof. I don't even tylenol so I can't imagine taking so many things. I hope they help!

What Sharon said! :)

That's a lot of meds - I can well imagine it would be hard to focus on anything ... nice and sharp on your photo though!

You know I take a lot of medications too, but it never occurred to me to photograph them. It's an interesting way to present your story. I hope you can get weened off of the meds, but know that it will take a while. Hope you're sleeping well now. You are fortunate to have friends that care about you.

ugh, i feel your pain, I am on a ton of pills too,, my pharmacy knows me very well, I see them several times a week! But nice shot!

Lovely focus, I can't imagine taking so many tabs, but am guessing a lot of them are to compensate the side effects of the others!!

@pyrrhula It certainly is a lot but I have to try and trust the drs...
@overalvandaan Trello is a project management tool, it's really useful! The writing is 'Mon', those particular tablets have the days of the week on :)
@kwind Thank you - so I don't paractamol either :')
@purdey @slash Thank you so much, I'm stuck for inspiration at the moment so it means a lot to hear you say that!
@suklassen Thank you, it really can be, my brain is often mush!
@stray_shooter Thank you, no weeing off at the mo just adding more in! I'm a bit stuck for inspiration at the moment so mundane it is!
@kkp thank you :) It's a nightmare isn't it?! I hope your pharmacy are as nice as mine
@craftymeg Thank you - they are indeed

seventeen, a lot to manage
February 10th, 2017
@kkp mine are too, they even count most of them out for me!
@bfairfield It is indeed

I'm no doctor and you need to trust yours but 17 medications, surely they aren't all working effectively with each other! I know that the writing says Mon but i like the way it sits and says No.

@kjarn Probably unconsciously summing up my feelings ;)

Well I'm asthmatic so I think 3 of them are for that, plus an anti-histamine for that.
Then I broke my digestive system so two of them are for that.
Two of them are sleeping tablets, but I never take them at the same time.
I think maybe 4/5 of them are various vitamins and minerals which I never take.
One is vitamin D which I need to remember to take tomorrow.
One is an anti-anxiety, another an anti-depressent, another an anti-psychotic
One is for my skin.

I have no idea what that adds up to and which I've missed :') Thankfully my chemist are wonderful and count them all out for me and put them in blister packs - 4 times a day, a pack per week and they give me the packs every 4 weeks :)

@naomi that's some list! I hope they all help you to live a comfortable life as much as they can
