We got up early this morning and went crabbing. These are Blue Mannas and are endemic to the estuaries an hour south of here. They are quite easy to catch with a scoop net (it was my first time) but not so easy to find ones large enough to be legal. The coloured plastic things in the tub are gauges to size the crabs. Unfortunately many people don't seem to worry about measuring.
