Fremantle-Perth

Took the train to Perth to meet Gitika for lunch...I enjoyed watching these two on their phones...
this would serve really well as an example in a 'sociology' class about how people sit and occupy spaces!

@anniesue it would be perfect for that!

@eevaliisa it's hard to find someone who isn't plugged into a device - including me a lot of the time!

@narayani I'm rarely plugged into a device. Actually, since I retired, I'm never plugged into a device. At home I can let them play out loud. Outside, I don't like to have my ears blocked off from life.

Love it. A friend in Texas used to say - "a slice of life".

@meotzi I can't handle the earphones but I do sit and look at photos or play solitaire at times... His tattoo collection was interesting, the leg one looked like a home job. I wondered if the star was for Australia (part of the Southern Cross) He was speaking to another young man at one point so I heard that he was off to Sydney for a week and then "home" which I think from his accent was probably Germany.

"slice of life" is a good description for this. I have to admit that I find my iphone very fascinating. If I am by myself, there is always something interesting to look up or read.

Fascinating. And it seems to be so true everywhere you go that people are plugged into devices.

@seacreature it was funny - we did the same route on Saturday and people were talking to each other!! It was so noisy! 😄
