The Blessing

Nothing Halloween-y so here is one from yesterday's Blessing of the Fleet. An annual celebration for the fishing community where their boats are blessed for the coming season.

i love that statue! is that a fishing net hanging on the front of her? what's attached to the net? reminds me of milagros

@peggyhuffman she gets all sorts of golden trinkets pinned to her in the church before the parade, and she is "floating"on a bed of white roses.
