There is a Japanese technique called kintsugi where broken ceramics are repaired using a special glue mixed with gold. They value broken pieces almost more than whole ones. I used ceramic stain and a water based glue and kinda like it.
Certainly looks different and gives it character. I kinda like it too. Better to make the repair obvious like this, I think, than to try and hide it, and then it looks repaired/cracked/broken
