It does look like velvet doesn't it! If you are not able to get the correct colour red, you might find it is the light? Especially if you have LED lights anywhere near by - I have found those often make my colours look different

@seacreature it was just natural light Desi...I guess my old iPhone (and it's aging user) have their limitations 😉

So beautiful! I think red can be hard to capture, especially close-up. I grow red roses and I rarely get a photo with an accurate color. No idea why.

@narayani about the color red- Do you have the snapseed app on your phone? Under "Insights" they have a very quick tutorial on working with reds. I haven't tried it yet but it's kinda good to know it's not just me. It looks fairly easy too. 😊
