Interesting collection of items. I love your rag doll. Although this is a lot more random than yesterday, I believe you have managed to create a nice balanced feel in this composition. Good in black and white so there aren't loads of colours competing for attention as I think it might look quite busy in colour?
So the next challenge is "Two". Just two. Always reading about odd numbers being the ideal in an artistic arrangement, in particular three items, so now I'm looking for a striking or interesting composition with two.
@seacreature it was very busy in colour! Everything screamed NO to me as I set this up. I found the disconnection really uncomfortable - probably a sign of some mental disorder!! 😜 I bought the doll at a fundraiser a year or so ago...a group of women here make gorgeous (black) dolls and send them to children in Africa.
@narayani I have sometimes shot things in twos in spite of conventional wisdom about three's. Not as a challenge that was set for me, but just because while I was setting it up in somehow felt better when I removed the third flower, for example. I won't show you any of my twos now so it doesn't stifle your own imagination. Besides they were all shot a while ago anyway. But maybe I will deliberately do something again soon after you have done yours
