I've been avoiding recycling my used clay since discovering the pugmill wasn't working (quite a while ago now). So on top of the bucket I had, another bucket has appeared. About 35kg all up. Today I bit the bullet and decided to try doing it by foot...very satisfying!
@365projectorgjenfurj if I'd kept up my ace membership, I'd be able to refer you to some pugmill photos and info from last year! Basically it's like a giant sausage machine...you put lumpy, used clay in one end, and lovely smooth, evenly mixed clay comes out the other. But feet worked 😄
It sure does look like it was satisfying. Brings back such happy memories of playing in the puddles (we had red clay soil where I grew up) and letting mud squish up between my toes.
