Despite the fun of the miniture engines, it is the big traction engines I really enjoy. This magnificent example would probably fetch around £500,000 if sold. But the charm and sheer grittyness of these vehicles is the real attraction.

The picture here has been processed in photoshop to get a sepia finish. I am not sure if this or the original is better. So have a look at the original in my other album here...

I think this is the better one, one of the reasons may be that the background is less obtrusive.

i've flipped back and forth on these two . I'm out of step her I know , But the colour brings out the shine and sheen on the magnificent engine ,contrasting with all that greenery. see Ray's pont , but still the colour fro me.
