Note: I mainly use manual settings for the most effective control. The G12 is the only P&S I know that allows RAW and full manual.

And here I've been saying to myself when my pictures look like this, "This shot is too grainy." It sounds much prettier to say a shot has noise!

Thank you for the lesson ... I appreciate it more than you know!! Can you tell me what your shutter speed and Ap setting were, net? I'm guessing that you were on full manual? Anyway, your exif info doesn't show it. Just curious.

I know noise is supposed to be undesirable - and often is! but I like the way it works here. And the light and shade are beautiful.

for us hobbyists, we just go to picnik and now ipiccy or picmonkey, to get the noise effect! :-) über shot, damon.
