Love them both but I like this one!! Much more intense. LOVE
April 26th, 2012
Beautiful shot! The only reason that I like this one more is because you can see both eyes.
April 26th, 2012
This is the one!!

April 26th, 2012

April 26th, 2012
i like this shot better than the other although both are very good. this is a better perspective, though. wonderful shot.
April 26th, 2012
They are both amazing captures but I like being able to see his whole face. Gorgeous portrait of a beautiful bird. Well done and this one gets my vote. Fav.

Wow! What a great shot!
April 26th, 2012
Love the eyes bright looking right at me. Fabulous shot
April 26th, 2012
They are both excellent. This one seems stronger to me because it is closer/a tighter shot and the falcon seems to be looking directly into the lens, i.e. into my eyes!
April 26th, 2012
This one is amazing! The falcon looks so much more prestige and powerful in this one!
April 26th, 2012
good closeup, nice detail
April 26th, 2012
This is perfection
April 26th, 2012
I think I do choose this one now. The direct look is very compelling.

@dulciknit - The original comments you made were very interesting and useful. Thank you.
April 26th, 2012
@netkonnexion Thank you, Damon. I deleted because I felt I was maybe being rather long-winded!
April 26th, 2012
@dulciknit - Actually, as I am not really an artist (wots one of those anyway?) I find it difficult to appreciate the nuance in the meaning and message of a picture. Words like 'intense' were used above and that fascinates me - even tho' I find it a bit impenetrable. Comments like yours help me think around the subject. Thanks.
April 26th, 2012
Though they're both good, I like the bird's head on this one.
April 26th, 2012
Both are really good but I like this one even more. Thins up!
April 26th, 2012
I love both, but if I had to choose it would be this one (I think it's the eyes!). Fav

I like this one. Both eyes on the camera, an alert, attractive bird. The bird looks ill in the other image.

Beautiful Image. Look at that steely glare!
April 27th, 2012
Beautiful portrait of him! Both shots are gorgeous and have a different feel. I think the focus on the other shot is marginally better, as it seems to be more on his eye, but otherwise there's not much in it :)
April 27th, 2012
Awesome capture! I really like both of them. What a marvellous creature!
April 27th, 2012
Bev

April 27th, 2012

I love them both, but prefer this one because of his expression and the angle.
October 4th, 2012
I am a bit slow to spot these two wonderful photos. I have flicked between them a few times, but I think, on balance, I prefer this one.
