They are both amazing captures but I like being able to see his whole face. Gorgeous portrait of a beautiful bird. Well done and this one gets my vote. Fav.
They are both excellent. This one seems stronger to me because it is closer/a tighter shot and the falcon seems to be looking directly into the lens, i.e. into my eyes!
@dulciknit - Actually, as I am not really an artist (wots one of those anyway?) I find it difficult to appreciate the nuance in the meaning and message of a picture. Words like 'intense' were used above and that fascinates me - even tho' I find it a bit impenetrable. Comments like yours help me think around the subject. Thanks.
Awesome shot! I like this one better because it makes a greater impact, as the bird is turning towards the camera. It looks very alert. Beautiful focus and details!
Beautiful portrait of him! Both shots are gorgeous and have a different feel. I think the focus on the other shot is marginally better, as it seems to be more on his eye, but otherwise there's not much in it :)
Amazing capture. I like this one the best as well. Very dramatic. How did you get so close without him ripping your arm off? Well done and congrats on making PP.
They are beautiful shots of a magnificent bird.
