I like this! Great perspective, nice textures, hint of wood in the background. Did you set this up or was it natural? Knowing me, I'd have been tempted to wet the pebbles!
@Cherrill - It was taken within a shop window on a night shoot. Lighting and set-up were unchangable. However, it has given me a number of ideas for future studio shots.

I have always loved river stones....I have one in my album tonight..with an ant on it. But I have always loved to pick them up and collect them when I find a nice rounded one. Pretty photo!
oh, pebbles are the most engaging photographic subjects, they have varying textures all at once and they get to really test the camera's macro abilities, especially my p&s. great focus.
