@dulciknit - all racing rowing goes backwards. Its the only sport where you have to go the wrong way to win! LOL.

@dulciknit - OK smart alec! Actually I should eat my own hat anyway! Certain dives are reversed or done backwards, as are certain ice skating moves and gymnastics. You win! LOL.
Tug of war is interesting too... its the only sport I can think of that you have to be the first team over the line to lose! LOL.
