Yes - Louise lives a few miles from there and when I visit I arrive in High Wycombe by train. It's quite an attractive photogenic place. I have several photos of this building.
One of those ordinary but special little moments of everyday life (love that little boy wearing his mum's bag, caught in mid-stride) and in a setting of some pleasing architecture too. I like it very much.
Wow! I will have to FAV this photo just for all the info you supplied! and once again...I am not a fan of b&w but in this photo, colour would not focus on your subject 'The Lady in Black'.....FAV!
The b&w shows so much texture and detail in the structures and buildings - fascinating how many contrasts there are between the mother's and child's demeanors. A lovely study.
I just read your street shot article and I think this lady in b/w represents this for me. She is the focus but her little boy follows in so well. The arches all connect up and pull your eye along and the flowers even without colour are really attractive.
