So after reading the article, I'm thinking no, but then everyone above is praising it so highly! It's nice, but it doesn't pull me in (except maybe to think how lovely it would be to fly somewhere new and different!), but I don't really feel connected to it as I do in other shots.
I like this better than my plane shot today. Wonderful clouds! Thanks for the great article! I don't always put a lot of thought into shots. Shame on me.
@olivetreeann - Yes, and actually for this image that is the point. I took this shot for a travel article. So your point is well made. If it had been titled "Landing in exotic places" it would have a whole different meaning and context. It is a pretty pointless picture for most other sorts of situations. Used in the context it was intended for the visualisation and meaning are appropriate as are the artistic intentions (cloud backing, dynamic angle etc which took me a little time and about 40 shots to get right).
