Identify This! No.58

Todays object should keep things moving - what is it? Have fun!
More about "Identify This"... http://365project.org/netkonnexion/number03/2011-05-11

Yestderday you saw...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You were looking at a book along the length of its wire binding. Yes, taken from my sick bed. The binding is a threaded non-spiral type. But thats really too technical!
Well done to those who spotted what this object was...
Carrie; Rick Schies; Mike Schwandner; Paula Cook-Farkas; La.Sk; The Poop Guy; lorihiro; Alta D©; Sue Wild; Howard N; Camille Bisson; ryncediez.; Paula Brumbe;
Tonight I think the accuracy prize goes to Doug O. - Coil bound document - NOT spiral!
Honorable mentions to...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Paula Brumbe - your personal journal where you keep all your ideas to stump us on Identify This, or it is your Where is Whally book. So basically I am saying it is a sprial book, but knowing you, I will need to be specific to win the prize. Okay, it is your hardbound personal journal that sits next to your bed. Net says:-->> Unfortunately its not! LOL... Its actually an old Adobe Photoshop training manual. LOL.

Nancy Holte - Well, since I did so well on yesterday's guess (NOT!) I'm going to boldly proclaim that today's is a slinky with a light shining through it. Net says:-->> Obscure or what! But a Doohicky Award!!! YaaaaahaY!!!

Howard N - The image is of a spiral bound book. Most likely, what we might call here in the States, the "second set" of books, where all of the real documentation is kept!!! May possibly been kept in a secret compartment in a wall, behind a picture, and only removed for top secret entries and photographs,,, otherwise, it does not exist!!! Net says:-->> Well, I think thats going a bit paranoid, so you get tonights "Master Paranoic Award", Yaaaaha!!!! LOL.

Liz (fotomama) - duh_ flex capaciter for time travel- you really need to make these harder lol... Net says:-->> OK, you got me it IS a flux capacitor. Now, some nice men in white coats are going to help you lie down and get some rest... But first - A Doohicky Award!!! Yaaahoooay!!!

Thanks for your great ideas. Good ones tonight. I hope you had fun too.

Everyone, thank you for your continued support and good wishes. I am on the mend.

See you tomorrow.
Enjoy!

You are not making this easy... I havent seen one of these in quite some time. it is the metal tab at the end of the cylindrical tube which is rivet attached, or not attached, to something else not in the image. Left center could be a finger which is used to accuate this thing, if it in fact can be actuated.
