Yes, yes, I know, its a back scratcher. Too easy! Clever bunch!

Correct observers were...
Well, everybody really. LOL...

Honorable mentions...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sue Roth - ya, muh best friend the back scratcher. Net says:-->> OOOh! Yes! Mine too...
Paula Brumbe - I'll scratch my back if you scratch my back. Add in some bamboo scratching material and then I will just scratch my back. Net says:-->> Anyway this little guy is only about 46cm long. So it would be a bit of a stretch across the pond! LOL.
Howard N
The Chinese invented this item out of necessity, as they had not invented door jams to wiggle against. The improvement was it's mobility and backs could now be scratched in tents or sleeping bags or in areas where door jambs, fenceposts or trees did not exist. Net says:-->> LOL> Like that one Howard. a "Doohicky Award!" Yaaaahooo!
Rick Schies - I have one of those in my office. Never be without one. Net says:-->> Yup! Me too. Its beside me now! Actually I am surprised that it has taken me so long to get it into this little game. LOL. Obviously been without an itch back for a while...
Paula Cook-Farkas - Oh, just looking at this makes my back itch! I'll probably end up rubbing against my computer to try and scratch! Net says:-->> Actually I know how you feel, just had to have a scratch myself. Suggestive is the term I think... LOL.
Alta D© - It is for the itch you can't reach! =) Net says:-->> True! Funny that, since I started writing this I have been itching like mad. LOL.
Caren Eri - We have a drink out here called the Tropical Itch and every time I see one of them I think of that drink :) Net says:-->> As of now so do I... LOL.
Bev - Mine broke :( I have to get a new one). Net says:-->> Bet you are itching to get that one delivered!!! LOL.
Well, you all caught me out tonight! Well done. Thanks for dropping by.
This looks like a cargo packing strap. I guess that's what you call it.
Really, it's quite obvious it's a red carpet applying device.
Well, I really have no idea but I'm going to venture a guess. It's a clamp with an adjustable strap attached to it, enabling a person to put something on top of their car, attach this to one side, (I'm sure it's attached to another one for the other side) and THEN it will aid in holding the item in place. Or not.
What we see here is what we would call a "web clamp" in the states. Probably because of the web strapping! The metal ends are secured to a 'whatever' and ratcheted up by the flipo gizmo, drawing in the web which is securing the 'whatever.' I find these things indespensible when transporting lumber on the roof rack of the SUV, as it keeps the material on the roof of my vehicle until I arrive.
