This is looking across to Raglan, New Zealand on a beautiful spring day, with Waikato's version of the Pancake Rocks in the foreground. It's a very different view to any I would have seen at landlocked Raglan in Wales, which was near where I used to live. However, this Raglan doesn't have the history or a castle, so they both have their positives.
@nzkites Our local domain is in Te Kauwhata rather than Raglan. This was taken on a road trip to the other side of the harbour. Hope you enjoyed your stay in this lovely little surfer town. :)
Interesting rock formations! Yes we stayed at TK domain last night and had an early wake up call when the fire siren went off at 3.25am! Hoping it was nothing too bad.
@nzkites@chikadnz oh goodness, you were in our little town. We could have met up. 😊 The siren was for a car accident on the highway. Looked like one hit the back of another. You must let @yorkshirekiwi and me know if you’re this way again. We seem to be a stopover place for a lot of travellers.
@nickspicsnz Thanks, sorry we missed you but sure we will be back and will let you know as we would love to meet you and @yorkshirekiwi. I grew up in the TK area :-)

@susiemc One day Sue - it's definitely worth the wait :)
@happypat @365projectmalh3 I wonder how long it'll be before this is all over and people can travel freely again.
@nzkites You're going to brave the dark side, lol!
