Film Lives - Trees and Grass

This was taken back on September 17th, but only just finished the roll and had the film developed today...

And now I have to say that I am getting a little done with the pretty nature shots... really hoping to have time to do some streety stuff tomorrow...
Well, you do the pretty nature shots really well...but you rock the streety suff! ;-D

@tryeveryday @lyno Yep! What they said.

What film did you use? I like the vintage-y tones here.

The light in the background area is so good - lightens up the tree foliage. I love that fuzzy purple flower plant!

@cmc1200 I am guessing 200ASA. Could be something like Fuji but not Kodak. Like the purple around branches with diffusion of light. @northy seems very manicured this nature

@cmc1200 "blacks" film... it's store brand for blacks photography which is yer basic photographic supply retailer... they're everywhere in canada... i think the film was expired... i didn't do any post processing... the light was kind of funky, but definitely there is some copper / sepia overtones here that don't show up in the photos i took of the same scene at the same time with my dslr...

@peterdegraaff hmmm... guess i need to start taking notes... i'm thinking it was 400 ASA, but don't remember and they don't put this info on the negatives that i can tell... first roll i shot was 200, and i'm pretty sure this one was a better quality...

it was a store brand film but i think someone mentioned that most storebrands are either fuji or kodak, so who knows...

@northy On the negative it usually tells you the brand and type or has code. Seems to have produced lots of fine detail.

Very pretty landscaping. Are you planning to continue with the film photography?

@peterdegraaff well - there's a variety of gobbledy gook on the negatives - but if it actually says anything meaningful (apart from the numbering) i can't see it... :)

@ladyjane playing around with it a bit for now... we'll see... :)

don't be bored! nice film shot, a bit even I guess, regards light and colour and depth of field, but still a nice summer (late summer) shot.
