The low hanging mist gave the city an apocalyptic feel today... The gardeners (only one is pictured here) were at work on the rooftop garden at city hall - with the disappearing skyline serving as a backdrop... it was a tad surreal...
I'm not entirely certain this works... but I kind of love it anyway... although, admittedly, this is mostly because it instantly brought on visions of the vintage robot with the watering can... and then, for some reason, I always superimpose the Mike and the Mechanics song on top of that image... the song has nothing to do with the movie, but it leaves me with the same haunting feeling...
