Today has been something of a marathon... it started with my dragging my sorry butt out of bed at 5am in order to get one of my boys to hockey practice for 6:30am... and ended just over an hour and a half ago when i got home with the groceries...
for this morning, determined to make the most of it, i brought along my tripod and camera... refusing to be daunted by the pouring rain, i wrapped a plastic bag around my camera and found my happy place :)
This is an overpass (underpass?) not far from the hockey arena... at least it didn't rain on me while I was under there :)
It's interesting that you use the phrase "my happy place" in relation of shooting. It is like an escape from the real world, isn't it. I call mine my " lifeline from insanity"
@lynnb yeah... it's me - actually... unbelievably a couple people did walk thru as i was shooting (in that hour, on a sunday morning, in the rain), but they didn't register on camera... the scene needed something!
My happy place was out in a landscape in stormy wild weather so it is hardly surprising yours is next to the tracks. Blue squares and silhouettes are very cool. Sunday night for you and already tired. I think I have Mondayitis, but at least could get some film developed.
I wouldn't worry too much about catching up. You're sharing your work with us, and that's to our benefit.
